Ouagadougou: The High Commissioner of the Boulgou province, Constantin Dom¨b¨gui¨r¨ Dabir, presided over a consultation meeting on Friday, July 17, 2026, as part of the preparations for the second edition of the Mandatory Patriotic Immersion (IPO), scheduled for 2026.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the meeting brought together citizen watch actors, bakers, traders, as well as provincial and municipal women's coordinating bodies. The objective was to exchange views on the measures to be taken to promote better ownership of the initiative by the people of the province.

At the start of the proceedings, the High Commissioner recalled the guidelines of the highest authorities in the country for the total success of this second edition. He invited the people of Boulgou to take ownership of the initiative by actively getting involved alongside the provincial organizing cell.

According to him, this commitment should translate into participation in preparatory activities, particularly those aimed at improving the reception and living conditions of conscripts in Tenkodogo. He also announced that further meetings would be held soon with the various components of society, with a view to ensuring widespread dissemination of information and inclusive mobilization of all social strata.

At the end of the discussions, the participants welcomed the holding of this consultation and pledged to organize themselves to actively contribute to the success of the IPO 2026.
