Boulgou: The Muslim community of Zons© celebrated Eid al-Adha on Wednesday in a spirit of fraternity and unity, marked by prayers for peace, unity, and social cohesion. Gathered in the prayer square, the Muslim faithful implored Allah for the return of peace and stability to Zons©, as well as for harmony among the various communities.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony was attended by local authorities, traditional chiefs, and representatives of the Christian community, who came to show their solidarity with their Muslim brothers. This turnout was welcomed by many participants, who saw it as an example of peaceful coexistence within the community.

In his sermon, Imam Idrissa Bans© offered wishes for health, peace, and prosperity to the people. He also prayed for good rainfall during the winter season to ensure a successful agricultural campaign. The imam also welcomed the presence of traditional authorities, particularly the chiefs of Soper, Samprabissa, and Zons©, at this major prayer service. He encouraged them to continue their efforts to promote unity and peaceful coexistence within the community.

Through this celebration, the people of Zons© reaffirmed their commitment to the values of solidarity, tolerance, and social cohesion.
