Boulkiemd Community Bands Together to Clean Kindi Medical Center

Ouagadougou: The population of the rural commune of Kindi mobilized its forces on Wednesday for a large-scale sanitation operation at the local Medical Center (CM), AIB observed. The mobilization was total. Young people, old people and members of citizen watch groups responded massively to the call, armed with brooms, shovels and dustpans.

According to Burkina Information Agency, through this community commitment, the residents spared no effort to clean, sweep and rid the sanitary area of wild grasses and waste. Major Narcisse Combary, representing the chief medical officer who was unable to attend, praised this outpouring of solidarity and civic-mindedness, commending the quality of the work done by the "benefactors of the day".

For his part, the spokesperson for the population wanted to express his gratitude to the healthcare staff for the daily sacrifices made in service of the sick. At the end of this morning of work of common interest, a clean and conducive environment for care was offered to the users and health workers of the Kindi Medical Centre.
