Ouagadougou: On the occasion of the start of the administrative year, the Regional Director of Preschool, Primary and Non-Formal Education (DREPPNF) of Nando, Abylac Rouamba, made a field visit to Pouni, urging it to strive for excellence. Accompanied by the Provincial Director of Sangui, Bapian Yo, Comrade Rouamba spoke with the local educational community in the town hall meeting room to remobilize the troops for the 2026-2027 school year.
According to Burkina Information Agency, this descent into the educational hierarchy responds to a number of objectives: to listen, that is to say, to exchange directly with the frontline actors; to provide solutions means to respond concretely to the concerns of teachers and supervisors; consolidating achievements, in other words, instilling a collective dynamic to sustainably raise the academic performance of the entire region.
For Abylac Rouamba, it is necessary to get to work, in the spirit of the RPP, so that the region can achieve the best results during the 2026-2027 school year. Speaking at the event, the Provincial Director of Sangui urged the southern part of his province to draw inspiration from the achievements of the northern part. "In the past, Godyr has provided the best primary school teacher and Kyon the best primary school supervisor. This year again, the title of best teacher in the country was awarded to Didyr, and the title of best preschool supervisor went to the DPEPPNF," Bapian Yo reminded the students, aiming to inspire the teachers of Pouni.
For his part, the head of the Pouni CEB (Basic Education Center), Bahini Edmon Coulibaly, welcomed this gesture of attention from the regional hierarchy. According to him, these fruitful exchanges helped to inform the teaching staff on essential topics, thus strengthening the educational community's determination to meet the challenges of the new academic year.
