The High Commissioner of Zondoma Province, Aboubacar Sidiki Nabé launched on Tuesday, June 6 at the Guelba school in Gourcy, the tests for the Certificate of Primary Studies (CEP), session of 2023.
3,728 students including 2,156 girls and 1,572 boys went this Tuesday, June 6, 2023, to conquer their first parchment. On behalf of the province, the official launch of the Certificate of Primary Studies (CEP) took place at the center of Guelba located in the town of Gourcy.
For this year 2023, the number of candidates for the CEP is down by 1,920 in the province of Zondoma.
“I am here with all the others who accompany me to encourage and support you. Remain calm, read the subjects well, think before dealing with them and we will have good results”, wished the high commissioner, Aboubacar Sidiki Nabé to the candidates.
Mr. Nabé also conveyed his encouragement to teachers and all other education stakeholders involved in the evaluation process.
For the provincial director in charge of education of Zondoma Ouindinkonté Ouédraogo, this session takes place in a context marked by the rise of insecurity in the province, something which, according to him, justifies the significant drop in the number of candidates.
According to him, this session is also marked by the introduction of a new software called SIGEC (Integrated Examination and Competition Management System) in data processing.
According to Mr. Ouédraogo, the SIGEC could possibly create some difficulties because of its novelty. The results of the CEP are expected around June 21, 2023.
