Burkina faso: The financial and real estate security company, Expertis SA, launched on Friday two real estate projects of approximately 700 housing units in Sondogo and Loumbila, in support of the national housing policy.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the general manager of Expertis SA, Zalissa Koumar©, stated that this program, with about forty units already available on the Sondogo site, is planned to be executed over three years, barring unforeseen circumstances, for an estimated cost of 10 billion FCFA. The project will include villas of different standards, duplexes, and various types of dwellings, including F2, F3, F4, and F5, as well as apartments integrated into R+3 buildings, all constructed following current technical standards.
Ms. Koumar© also noted that the sites are equipped with essential amenities such as water, electricity, developed access roads, and public lighting. The Minister in charge of the Construction of the Nation, Mikalou Sidib©, who officiated the ribbon-cutting ceremony marking the official launch of the works, expressed support for the initiative, aligning it with reforms aimed at improving and regulating real estate development.
Minister Sidib© highlighted that Expertis SA is among the developers that have complied with new regulatory requirements and obtained the necessary technical authorizations. He emphasized the projects' contribution to increasing the housing supply while fitting into the government's vision of urban densification through a combination of individual homes and R+3 buildings. He also urged other developers to participate in this initiative, mentioning that 39 permits have already been issued, which would help gradually meet national housing demand.
Ms. Koumar© assured that Expertis SA adheres to all current provisions and aims to facilitate access to housing. She mentioned that the homes are available starting at 17 million FCFA, with payment plans available, and buyers can already visit some completed villas and gradually move into their new homes. She also assured buyers would receive administrative documents guaranteeing full ownership of their properties.
