Mogt©do: The commune of Mogt©do vibrated on Thursday to the rhythm of patriotism and civic engagement, on the occasion of the ceremony of raising the national colors marking the official launch of the 3rd edition of the National Days of Patriotic Engagement and Civic Participation (JEPPC).
According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony was presided over by the President of the Special Delegation (PDS), Harouna KANAZOE, who relayed the message of the President of Faso to the people. In its address, the PDS highlighted the profound meaning of the slogan "My plate, my pride!", emphasizing the importance of consuming local products and promoting regional specialties as both a patriotic and economic act.
To this end, it recalled these powerful words from the President of Burkina Faso: 'When you buy our green beans, you are not only feeding your family, you are also boosting the economy of Burkina Faso. When you wear Faso Dan Fani, you are not just dressing yourself, you are upholding the dignity of our weavers.'
Through this message, the municipal authorities invited the people of Mogt©do to strengthen their civic engagement, to promote local products and to actively contribute to the development of the municipality and Burkina Faso. This activity is part of the national dynamic of consolidating patriotic spirit, social cohesion and citizen participation.
