Ouagadougou: The Minister in charge of Foreign Affairs, Karamoko Jean Marie Traore, welcomed the Ivorian Minister of African Integration, Adama Dosso, for a significant diplomatic meeting. The visit, held from December 5-7, 2025, in Ouagadougou, was at the behest of the Ivorian authorities and focused on enhancing bilateral relations between Burkina Faso and Ivory Coast.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the meeting underscored Burkina Faso's dedication to fostering fraternity and integration in line with the aspirations of its people and those of Ivory Coast. Minister Traore emphasized the commitment to regional cooperation grounded in mutual respect and a genuine desire for peace consolidation.

The reception by Burkinabe authorities highlighted a strong intention to maintain peaceful relations for the benefit of both nations. The discussions were characterized by transparency, sincerity, and openness, reflecting the principles guiding the relationship between the two countries.
