Ouagadougou, Former AIB correspondent Alassane Neya (52) was buried late Monday afternoon in Tanlarghin cemetery, east of Ouagadougou.
Alassane Neya, previously Director of Communication and Ministerial Press (DCPM) of the Ministry in charge of Youth, was married and father of three children. He was made an officer of the Order of the Stallion.
A training teacher, Alassane Neya was the correspondent of the AIB in the province of Bazèga (Center-Sud), in the years 92.
From 2004 to 2006, Mr. Neya trained at the Professional Information Training Center (CFPI), current Institute of Information and Communication Sciences and Technologies (ISTIC) from which he graduated with the assistant diploma in information and communication science and technology.
He also worked for the Communication and Public Relations Department of the Burkina Faso presidency.
As a reminder, Alassane Neya was killed on a traffic accident on the night of 31 October to 1 st November 2021.
