Burkina Minister Announces End of Multiple Requisitions for Exam Sessions

Ouagadougou: The Minister in charge of basic education, Sosth¨ne Dingara, has declared the termination of the practice of double or even triple requisitioning of the same personnel during the same exam session, a common occurrence in the exams organized by his department.

According to Burkina Information Agency, this announcement was made during a press conference where Minister Dingara outlined several innovations for the upcoming exams, specifically the CEP exam scheduled to begin on June 3rd. These improvements include the publication of the lists of all actors engaged in organizing and administering the tests by March 31, 2025, the reproduction of all exam tests, and the reopening of previously closed examination centers.

Minister Dingara highlighted that the major innovation for the 2025 CEP exam is the decentralization of certain processes, such as the handling of digital statements, preparation of envelopes, and the reproduction and packaging of exam papers. He noted that the regions have been organized into five basins, specifically Bobo Dioulasso, Koudougou, Kaya, Tenkodogo, and Ouagadougou.

The minister emphasized that these changes are intended to bring the production sites of the tests closer, enhance the security of the examination process, minimize logistical challenges, and improve the overall responsiveness of the exam administration.
