Ouagadougou: The Minister of Digital Transition of Posts and Electronic Communications, Aminata Zerbo/Saban©, along with her colleagues, undertook a clean-up operation at the Urban Medical Center (CMU) in Sector 29 of Song-Naaba in Ouagadougou. This initiative was part of the Patriotic Commitment Days focused on fostering a sense of citizenship and community involvement.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the theme for the first Patriotic Days of 2025 is centered on "order and discipline." Minister Aminata Zerbo emphasized the importance of these values for individual well-being, community health, and the socio-economic growth of Burkina Faso. She stated that promoting a clean and orderly environment is vital for the health of patients and the well-being of healthcare staff.

The clean-up event was a collaborative effort involving the Ministry's staff, CMU personnel, and local residents. The initiative aimed to reinforce the values of order and discipline within the community, contributing to a healthier living environment for all. Minister Zerbo appreciated the collective effort and urged residents to maintain cleanliness, particularly around health facilities, to ensure they remain accessible and welcoming.

Dr. Yoda Nadia R. Lucile, the head of the urban medical center, expressed gratitude for the Ministry's involvement, highlighting that actions like these exemplify true patriotism. Dr. Yoda also acknowledged the contribution of cleaning materials provided by the Ministry, which will aid in sustaining a hygienic environment conducive to public health.
