Ouagadougou,  Seven Burkinabè police officers were killed and five others wounded on Friday morning on the Dori-Essakane axis (North), according to a statement from the national police.

Mop-up operations are in progress, specifies the text.

Despite the operations of the armed forces, the security situation in Burkina Faso in several localities has deteriorated sharply in recent months.
