Burkinab¨ Diaspora Member Donates Three Million CFA Francs to Families of Fallen Security Forces

Houet: A Burkinabe national living between Mali and Senegal presented a cash donation of three million FCFA to the Governor of the Guiriko region, Mariama Konat©/Gnanou, on Tuesday. The donation was intended for the widows and orphans of our valiant Defense and Security Forces (FDS) who fell on the battlefields.

According to Burkina Information Agency, during the donation ceremony, the Governor of the Guiriko region, Mariama Konat©/Gnanou, reaffirmed that this gesture responds to the call of the President of Burkina Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traor©, for national solidarity. It is intended for the families of our fighting forces who fell in battle for the reconquest of our territory.

To that end, she paid a vibrant tribute to our valiant fighters for their determination and unwavering commitment to the mission of reconquering the territory. The top official in the region warmly welcomed this act of patriotism and also recalled that the donor, Abdoulaye Ou©draogo, had already supported the presidential initiative FASO MEEBO by providing 100 tons of cement.

Furthermore, she invited all Burkinabe living inside and outside the country to continue to support our Defense and Security Forces so that together, in a synergy of action, we can achieve the objectives defined by the Head of State. The donor, Abdoulaye Ou©draogo, a trader based between Senegal and Mali, indicated that he made his contribution after following the efforts deployed by our valiant soldiers in the missions to reconquer the integrity of our national territory.
