Ouagadougou: Burkinabe residents in Germany have contributed significantly to the development efforts in their home country, donating 150 vests to the Faso Mªbo Agency.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the Boudyel Intercultural Association, comprised of Burkinabe living in Germany, handed over the vests on Saturday, July 25, 2026. This gesture underscores the diaspora's commitment to the progress of Burkina Faso. The association's president, Ms. Alima Oudraogo, highlighted that this donation is a response to a call for support from the Faso Mªbo Agency and reflects the desire of Burkinabe abroad to engage with national development projects.

Ms. Oudraogo emphasized the importance of diaspora involvement, stating, "I felt it necessary to come to Faso Mªbo to play my role as a Burkinab¨ and participate in the development and building of our country. It is a duty for me." She called on all Burkinabe, regardless of their location, to contribute to the nation's development through tangible actions.

In addition to the vest donation, members of the Boudyel Intercultural Association actively participated in the work at the Faso Mªbo site, demonstrating their solidarity and patriotic dedication. Based in Hamburg, Germany, the association focuses on integration, culture, health, and development cooperation, reinforcing its commitment to Burkina Faso and encouraging further diaspora involvement in national initiatives.
