Burkina’s Defense attachés abroad received by President Kaboré

Ouagadougou, The Defense attachés serving in the diplomatic representations of Burkina Faso abroad, were received in audience this Thursday, by the President of Faso, Roch Marc Christian Kaboré.

“We were fortunate to be received by the President of Faso, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Roch Marc Christian Kaboré, within the framework of the Defense Attachés biennial”, rejoiced, the oldest of them, Colonel Major Wenceslas Winkoun.

“The Head of State gave us advice and also gave us instructions which will allow us to shine better in our jurisdictions,” he added.

According to Colonel Major Winkoun, the major challenge that Defense Attachés must take up, in accordance with their mission and instructions received in their various jurisdictions, is to organize military cooperation between their host countries and Burkina Faso. .

Moreover, the colonel major, meant that to come to an end to the crisis that Burkina Faso is going through today, this military cooperation is a “necessity”.

He argued that Burkina Faso needs the support of its partners abroad and friends to be able to successfully overcome the crisis.

“In the various jurisdictions where we work, our role is to make all the contacts to enable us to achieve results fairly quickly,” he said.
