CEB Board of Directors Commends Efforts, Prepares for Upcoming School Year


Manni: The CEB’s board of directors commends the efforts of educational stakeholders and prepares for the next school year. The Basic Education District (CEB) of Manni held its end-of-year 2025-2026 school year management council on Wednesday under the chairmanship of the Head of the Basic Education District (CCEB), Dahani Marcellin Damolga, in the presence of the heads of services and the directors of schools.



According to Burkina Information Agency, this statutory meeting allowed education stakeholders to take stock of the educational and administrative activities carried out during the 2025-2026 school year, to evaluate the implementation of the various educational reforms and to define the prospects for the next school year. The discussions focused on the performance achieved in schools, the difficulties encountered on the ground, and the initiatives developed within the framework of ongoing reforms, including English language teaching, Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), school gardening, productive activities, and bilingual education.



School principals presented the results recorded in their respective structures while highlighting certain constraints, including insufficient teaching materials, lack of water for the maintenance of school gardens, absence of certain teaching documents, and difficulties related to the coverage of programs in some classes. On this occasion, CCEB Dahani Marcellin Damolga congratulated all education stakeholders for their commitment and the results achieved despite the challenges. He urged them to strengthen the effective implementation of educational reforms, particularly in the areas of ICT and English language teaching, while paying close attention to productive school activities and the rigorous management of the resources generated from them.



The head of the CEB also gave guidance on the administrative management of schools, the updating of school statistics, the promotion of inclusive education, the organization of examinations and competitions, and the securing of school infrastructure during the holidays. The heads of the various technical services, in turn, shared information and formulated recommendations in their areas of expertise in order to contribute to the continuous improvement of the performance of the local education system.



The council was also an opportunity to pay tribute to school principals and teachers, particularly those of the CM2 classes, for their dedication and the results achieved during the 2025-2026 school year. At the end of the work, the participants reaffirmed their commitment to continue efforts in favour of inclusive and quality education for the benefit of the children of the commune of Manni.
