Citizen Mobilization Transforms Koudougou Hospital Center During National Sanitation Drive

Koudougou: As part of the National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation (JEPPC), the driving forces of the Center-West mobilized this Saturday for a major sanitation operation at the Koudougou Regional Hospital Center (CHR). The objective: to provide a healthier environment for patients and staff at this crucial health facility for the region.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the initiative, which is part of the second edition of the JEPPC (from March 26 to April 9, 2025), brought together a crowd of participants determined to make a difference. Equipped with cleaning equipment, the bodies, under the leadership of the interim governor of the region, Adama Jean Yves B©r©, took over the premises in the morning.

"I salute and congratulate each of you for your patriotic commitment," said Mr. B©r©, recalling the theme of this edition: "For order and discipline: I commit myself." He emphasized the importance of the Head of State's vision for a dignified and prosperous Burkina Faso, calling on everyone to embrace this ideal.

Alongside the governor, there were figures such as the High Commissioner of Boulkiemd©, Salimata Ou©draogo/Sanou, the interim president of the regional special delegation, Judica«l Kafando, the PDS of Koudougou, Jonas Man©, as well as directors, department heads, and representatives of associations. Together, they joined forces to clean the nooks and crannies of the hospital, particularly the green spaces.

This morning of cleaning adds to the other actions already undertaken as part of the JEPPC, demonstrating civic commitment to a cleaner and healthier Burkina Faso.
