Citizen Watch Group Hosts Conference on Digital Responsibility and Social Cohesion

Kompienga: The provincial coordination of the citizen watch group in Kompienga hosted a conference on Saturday, June 27, 2026, on the theme: "Citizen digital responsibility, a guarantee of hope for the promotion of social cohesion."

According to Burkina Information Agency, the Kompienga Provincial Citizen Watch Coordination Conference was attended by the High Commissioner of Kompienga Province, Isma«l Ouattara, representatives of various institutions, and especially young people. The event focused on the role of digital technology in fostering responsible citizenship and its potential to enhance social cohesion within the community.

The president of the Kompienga Provincial Citizen Watch Coordination, Taladidia Sangli, expressed his satisfaction with the youth turnout at the conference. He addressed the participants, emphasizing the importance of rejecting fake news and urged the youth to avoid becoming conduits for obscurantist forces. Sangli's remarks highlighted the need for vigilance and critical thinking in the digital age, aiming to inspire the younger generation to contribute positively to societal development.
