Citizens of Banfora Praise the Achievements of the People’s Progressive Revolution

Banfora:Citizens in Banfora, located in the Tannounyan region, have expressed their approval of the People's Progressive Revolution (RPP) as it marks its four-year anniversary. During an interview conducted on the streets of Banfora, residents highlighted several advancements in security, infrastructure, health, education, and the economy.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Lassina Diao Ouattara, president of the Tannounyan Regional Union of Donzos, remarked on the significant changes observed during this period, especially in the area of security. He noted the increased involvement of the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) in operations and the improved collaboration between the FDS and the Donzos. This enhancement in cooperation, previously hindered by challenges, has led to better mutual respect and understanding.

Lassina Diao Ouattara also commended several social and economic achievements, including road paving, the establishment of hemodialysis centers, the construction and equipping of Health and Social Promotion Centers (CSPS), and the bolstering of healthcare personnel. Additionally, he pointed to improvements in the economic situation and job creation for young people.

Siaka Sagnon, a school and university administration officer, emphasized the importance of comparing the country's situation before and after the emergence of MPSR 2 to assess its accomplishments. He identified progress in health, education, and the economy since then. Sagnon described the advent of the MPSR 2 as beneficial for Burkina Faso and stressed the need to consolidate the gains of the past four years to achieve further progress. He also noted improvements in security and urged the population to support the authorities' vision for the country.

Both Ouattara and Sagnon expressed satisfaction with the developments attributed to the leadership under MPSR 2 over the past four years and called for the continued advancement and consolidation of these gains for the welfare of the people.
