Civic and Patriotic Education Launched for 989 Students in Pilimpikou

Passore: 989 students are participating in Civic and Patriotic Education in the commune of Pilimpikou. The President of the special delegation of the commune, Adama Ouedraogo, officially inaugurated the Civic and Patriotic Guidance program for students in the intermediate classes of secondary schools in Pilimpikou.

According to Burkina Information Agency, this initiative is part of a national strategy to bolster civic and patriotic values among high school and middle school students. The program is set to engage 989 students through two six-week phases, conducted at two educational institutions within the municipality.

The selected schools for this educational activity are the Pilimpikou Departmental High School and El Hadj Salam Kafando High School in Rakounga. The launch ceremony saw the attendance of the supervisory team, which included members of the Defense and Security Forces, alongside the principals of the participating schools.

Adama Ouedraogo provided guidance and conveyed his best wishes to the students. He emphasized the importance of maintaining discipline, adhering to rules, and showing a commitment to patriotic values.
