CNAVC Members Enhance Capacities in Hounde Training Session

Tuy: Members of the National Coordination of Citizen Watch (CNAVC) of Tuy received training on their roles and responsibilities on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, in Hounde, to strengthen their effectiveness in the field.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the session was led by Omar Traore, the representative to the President of Burkina Faso for the Guiriko region. The aim was to better equip members to effectively conduct their activities. Mr. Traore noted that several stakeholders are involved in the CNAVC's support efforts, but they sometimes encounter difficulties due to a lack of understanding of their roles.

"This training aims to strengthen their skills to make them more effective in the field," he explained. He added that it will help improve their performance in their various missions. The project manager invited the members of the Tuy citizen watch to demonstrate responsibility and discipline in their actions.

"We want them to be role models for the population and for citizens to see themselves in them," he said. Mr. Traore also urged them to promote order and discipline to support the implementation of the ongoing popular progressive revolution in Burkina Faso. He expressed satisfaction with the active participation of members during the discussions and was reassured by their commitment to being responsible and engaged leaders.

For his part, the provincial president of the CNAVC/Tuy, Bassirou Saba, thanked the project manager for the initiative. According to him, this training will help to inform the members and make them more effective in the field.
