Como©: The citizen watch of Niangoloko launched, on Friday, an operation to clean the gutters in the city, in order to prevent flooding as the rainy season approaches. This citizen-led initiative aims to improve the living conditions of local populations while contributing to the fight against the risks of unsanitary conditions and stagnant wastewater, which are often the source of disease.
According to Burkina Information Agency, this activity is part of a dynamic of community engagement and empowering residents to take responsibility for sanitation and environmental protection. During the operation, the members of the citizen watch received a visit from the President of the Special Delegation of Niangoloko, Ouss©ni Ou©draogo, who came to commend their commitment and encourage them to continue their efforts in service to the community.
On this occasion, he invited the population to support these citizen initiatives in order to keep the city clean and prevent the inconveniences associated with the rainy season.
