Conscripts Undertake Cleanup Operation at Hound Police Services

Ouagadougou: The conscripts for the mandatory patriotic immersion (IPO) 2026 from the province of Tuy organized, on Sunday, September 13, 2026, a sanitation operation at the central police station and the Republican Security Company (CRS) of Hound.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the conscripts from Tuy are continuing their civic actions in the field, following their patriotic training. Equipped with machetes, rakes, and other tools, they cleared weeds from the grounds of the two National Police stations in Hound. With the support of the police officers, they also collected weeds and garbage, emptied trash cans, and removed piles of refuse using wheelbarrows and tricycles.

The representative of the conscripts in the 2026 IPO (Initial Public Service) program in Tuy, Dabanki¨ Hortense Lticia Nioumou, indicated that this activity aims to clean up their environment and strengthen collaboration with the security forces. The Deputy Central Commissioner of the National Police in Hound, Boukar Sawadogo, thanked the conscripts for their initiative. He commended their commitment to improving the working environment of the police services.

According to him, this action demonstrates that the training received as part of the patriotic immersion program has borne fruit. Comrade Sawadogo encouraged the recruits to continue in this vein. He also assured them that the National Police remains open to them for activities that would allow them to learn about the workings of its services.
