Ouagadougou: The Minister, Director of the Cabinet of the President of Faso, Captain Martha Celeste Anderson Dekomwin MEDAH, has conducted a site visit to assess the progress of two significant infrastructure projects-a 500-seat amphitheater at the Burkinabe Institute of Arts and Crafts (IBAM) and a municipal medical center in Gampela within the Kadiogo region.
According to Burkina Information Agency, these projects are part of the Presidential Initiative for Quality Education for All (IPEQ) and the Presidential Health Initiative (IPS). At the IBAM, Captain MEDAH reviewed the work schedule to ensure the efficient execution of the construction, which includes an amphitheater with an R+2 administrative block. Although there was a delay at the start, the completion rate had reached 40.02% by August 19, 2025. Captain MEDAH urged the supervising team to apply pressure on the contractors to complete the project within the contractual timeline. The construction company pledged to accelerate efforts to catch up on the delays.
At the Gampela Health and Social Promotion Center (CSPS), Captain MEDAH emphasized the importance of adhering to the construction schedule for the Communal Medical Center. He instructed the construction team to enhance their capacity and commitment to ensure timely completion. Captain MEDAH's directive was clear: the project must progress without further delays to meet the community's needs.
