Creation of the “Seenimin” National Social Assistance and Solidarity Fund

Ouagadougou: The Council of Ministers has adopted a decree to establish the National Social Assistance and Solidarity Fund, known as 'Seenimin', which translates to 'Mutual Aid' in the national language, Bwamu. This fund is a strategic initiative aimed at bolstering support for vulnerable individuals and social groups.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the Seenimin Fund was formed by merging the National Solidarity and Social Resilience Fund and the Legal Aid Fund.
