Dalo CEB Concludes Sporting and Cultural Activities with Unity and Excellence

Dalo: The Basic Education District (CEB) of Dalo concluded its sports and cultural activities on Friday, May 8, with a focus on promoting civic, patriotic, and cultural values. Placed under the high patronage of the Prefect and President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of Dalo, Ragnangnewendé Ouedraogo, this celebration was marked by the coordination of the Head of the Basic Education District (CCEB) of Dalo, Emmanuel Nana, with the blessings of the Chief of the canton of Dalo and sponsorship of a son of the locality, Fayçal Sanfo.According to Burkina Information Agency, the 2026 edition symbolized unity, social cohesion, excellence, and the promotion of academic talent through sport and culture. Students, teachers, educational supervisors, administrative, traditional, and religious authorities, along with a highly mobilized population, united around the ideals of fraternity and patriotism. The grand football final saw the Niou-Tiaré school face off against the Dalo C school, with Dalo C emerging victorious with a score of 1-0.In the cultural arena, the Dalo C school excelled by winning first prize in the ballet and recital categories, showcasing the artistic and cultural dynamism of its students. Award winners and athletes were celebrated with enthusiastic applause from spectators. Emmanuel Nana praised the commitment of all actors who contributed to the event's success, emphasizing sport and culture as educational and civic tools in Burkina Faso.Sponsor Fayçal Sanfo expressed pride in supporting Dalo's youth and encouraged continued excellence. Prefect PDS Ragnangnewendé Ouedraogo congratulated organizers and urged students to cultivate discipline and solidarity.
