Delwend© Hotel Inaugurated in Manga as ‘High-Level Patriotic Act’

Manga: The Minister of Communication, Culture, Arts and Tourism, Pengdwend© Gilbert Ou©draogo, officially inaugurated the three-star Delwend© Hotel in Manga, the capital of the Centre-South region. He praised the developer, describing it as a "high-flying patriotic act."

According to Burkina Information Agency, the minister highlighted the efforts of the developer, Joseph Rouamba, president of the ERJF group, and connected the hotel project to the broader national goals led by President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traor©. Under Traor©'s leadership, Burkina Faso is striving for true independence in political, security, economic, and social spheres.

The project is seen as a testament to the country's ability to create local value and generate employment. The idea for the hotel had been conceptualized by Joseph Rouamba in 2006. It was transformed into a concrete project by 2023, spurred by encouragement from national authorities and financial support from Coris Bank International.

Located near National Road 29 at Manga's northern entrance, the Delwend© Hotel is a three-star establishment with aspirations to exceed its current rating. Developer's representative, J©r´me Rouamba, noted that the construction is 75% complete. The hotel, built at a cost of 2 billion CFA francs, currently provides 48 permanent jobs and over a hundred temporary positions.

Minister Ou©draogo emphasized the hotel's role in enhancing employment opportunities and bolstering domestic tourism. The ceremony's patron, Idrissa Nassa, represented by Alassane Si©nou, stressed the hotel's contribution to local development and tourism in the Centre-South region.

Governor of the Centre-Sud, Yvette Nacoulma, remarked that the region boasts numerous tourist sites and that the Delwend© Hotel would enhance the quality of local hospitality infrastructure, fostering development and job creation.

Open since March 15, 2025, the Delwend© Hotel offers luxury rooms, conference facilities, a dining room, a gym, a swimming pool, a mini-food shop, and a straw hut for festive events. At the inauguration, Joseph Rouamba also donated two motorcycles to the defense and security forces.
