The NGO la Brique launched on Saturday August 5, 2023 in Diapaga, a sports competition which will last three months and which aims to strengthen social cohesion.

The launch of the sports competition was marked by a women's cycling race and a gala match which pitted the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) against religious denominations.

The national coordinator of the NGO La Brique, Paul Miampo was represented at the launch ceremony by Joseph Dembélé, the local manager of La Brique.

The latter thanked the FDS who, despite the difficulties of the moment, made the trip. He also thanked the religious and customary authorities who enhanced the ceremony with their presence.

Joseph Dembélé called for a sacred union around the organizing committee to make this competition a great success.

He stressed that the expected objective with the competition is the revelation of talents in order to form a club called Tin Taani for the benefit of the province of Tapoa which will participate at the national level in the various competitions.

The three months will also be marked by awareness sessions for young people on living well together, he concluded.
