Kadiogo: The Eben Ezer school complex in Nioko 2, Ouagadougou, organized a flag-raising ceremony on Monday, accompanied by an awareness session focused on respecting national symbols. This event was part of the National Days of Patriotic Engagement and Citizen Participation (JEPPC), an initiative by the Burkinabe government aimed at instilling patriotism, promoting local products, and respecting state symbols.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony gathered students, supervisors, and administrative staff around the national flag to pay homage to the Nation in a setting marked by civic-mindedness and discipline. Police Captain Christophe Kabor©, from the 4th district of Ouagadougou police station, presided over the event. His address to the students emphasized the importance of adopting responsible behaviors and respecting national symbols, such as the flag, which represents the unity and sovereignty of Burkina Faso.
Captain Kabor© highlighted the significance of the national colors, reminding students of the protocol to follow during flag-raising ceremonies, including standing facing the flag even when passing by on a motorcycle. Through this ceremony, the Eben Ezer school complex aims to contribute to the development of responsible citizens who are mindful of their duties towards the Nation.
