Dibougou:Two economic operators from Bougouriba, Al Hassane Sinou and Boubacar Barro, have donated construction materials valued at 8,450,000 FCFA to the provincial committee as part of the presidential initiative, Faso Mªbo.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the donation, made on September 20, 2026, includes 40 tonnes of cement from Al Hassane Sinou, valued at 5,200,000 FCFA, and 200 m³ of fine sand and 100 m³ of granite sand from Boubacar Barro, estimated at 3,250,000 FCFA.

This gesture is in response to President Ibrahim Traor©'s call for Burkinabe to contribute to the country's development through Faso Mªbo. Al Hassane Sinou expressed confidence in the local management of the initiative and praised the work being done in the municipality. He emphasized the importance of continuing their support to improve infrastructure in Dibougou.

The donation follows the "For the RPP, I Commit" tournament, where local infrastructure issues were highlighted by the traditional chief, Si Flix Ouattara. He mentioned ongoing concerns about road conditions and drainage systems but noted plans for paving a slip road.

Both donors encouraged local involvement in Faso Mªbo. Boubacar Barro urged all residents to contribute, regardless of financial means, stressing that even small donations can collectively make a significant impact. The operators called on others in the province to join their efforts in supporting the initiative.
