Engagement Citoyen: Mahamadou Sana Appeals for Discipline in His Department

Ouagadougou: Mahamadou Sana, the Minister of Security, presided over the traditional ceremony of raising the national colors on Monday, April 7, 2025, alongside his department's agents in front of the Pyramide building. This event served as a platform to reaffirm the nation's commitment to citizenship values.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the Minister highlighted the importance of the National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Civic Participation. The event is themed "For order and discipline, I commit myself," and its first phase spans from March 26 to April 11, 2025. He commended the staff for their participation in the health day organized on April 5 and urged them to continue their civic-minded and patriotic efforts, in line with the President of Faso's vision of the Progressive Popular Revolution.

Emphasizing the Ministry's responsibility, the Minister stressed the necessity of maintaining order, discipline, ethical standards, and exemplary behavior in all departments. Mahamadou Sana clearly stated that any behavior contrary to this vision from any ministry agent, be it civilian, police officer, or gendarme, would be unacceptable.

The Minister's appeal underscores the Ministry of Security's role as a model of patriotic commitment, discipline, and national loyalty.
