Faso Mebo: The School Life Agents Collective Offers 10 Tons of Cement

Ouagadougou: The Collective of School Life Agents (COAVS) handed over 10 tons of cement on Thursday to support city beautification initiatives initiated as part of the Faso Mebo presidential initiative. "We are here this morning to respond to the call of the Head of State, Captain Ibrahim Traore, as part of the presidential initiative Faso Mebo," said the Secretary General (SG) of the Collective of School Life Agents (COAVS), Thomas Nayaogue.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the donation of 10 tons of cement to Faso Mebo was made possible by contributions from more than 600 members of COAVS. "We are all Burkinabe and called to build the Nation. No one will come and build our country in our place," declared Thomas Nayaogue, who praised the generosity of COAVS members.

Thomas Nayaogue urged the people of Burkina Faso to unite and involve themselves in the work of the presidential initiative for a resilient and prosperous Burkina. He emphasized COAVS's commitment to participate in activities such as laying paving stones, collecting rubble, and cleaning molds used for making paving stones.

The Faso Mebo initiative, adopted on October 16, 2024, by the Council of Ministers, aims to build low-cost road infrastructure and urban development, including decent housing, sanitation, and the creation of green spaces.
