Bobo-dioulasso: The Cultural and Tourism Development Fund (FDCT) organized a regional information campaign on August 11 and 12, 2025, in Bobo-Dioulasso to clarify the guidelines of its call for projects. This initiative aimed to raise awareness among cultural and tourism operators about the available financing tools, in particular credit and subsidies, and to provide them with practical information on eligibility conditions, project frameworks, as well as the selection process for submitted applications.According to Burkina Information Agency, the FDCT was established in 2016 with a mission to provide ongoing financial and technical support for implementing structuring projects in the fields of culture and tourism. This session helped strengthen the technical and operational capacities of local stakeholders while improving communication between stakeholders, including regional and provincial directorates, as well as cultural and tourism promoters. On the first day of the meeting, Ms. Rosine Diabaté, Provin cial Director representing the Regional Director of Culture, welcomed the initiative and expressed her gratitude to the FDCT General Management. She invited participants to make the most of these moments of exchange to improve the quality of their projects and maximize their chances of accessing funding. For two days, participants were equipped to formulate projects that comply with the requirements of the FDCT, with the hope that this campaign will generate greater commitment from operators to boost the cultural and tourism sectors of the Guiriko region.
