Former Students Honor Retired Teacher Robert Tiendr©b©ogo During Student Teacher Recognition Week

Koudougou: Former students who attended Koudougou schools expressed their gratitude to their retired former mathematics teacher Robert Tiendr©b©ogo during the Student Teacher Recognition Week (SRE), AIB noted.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the Regional Director of Secondary Education and Vocational and Technical Training for the Centre-West, Bienzi Didier Par©, led a delegation of former students to the residence of Robert Tiendrebeogo, a retired mathematics teacher, on Saturday, May 3.

This visit, which is part of the activities of the first edition of the Student and Teacher Recognition Week (SRE), allowed administrative officials and former students to express their gratitude and thus pay tribute to the one they called "Thales" at the Koudougou provincial high school.

Surrounded by his family, Thales expressed his honor at this recognition and thanked the initiators for choosing him. Symbolic gifts were presented to him on this occasion, along with wishes and prayers for health, peace, longevity, and happiness.

In return, the host offered his visitors a shared meal in a pleasant atmosphere punctuated by anecdotes and testimonies.

Robert Tiendrebeogo spent decades of service at the Koudougou Provincial High School and succeeded in instilling in many students a love of mathematics, teaching, and the values of dedication, hard work, and patriotism.
