Four New Classrooms to Transform Kindibo B School in Tougo

The Kindibo B school, in the commune of Tougo, will gain four new classrooms. The foundation stone for these educational facilities was laid this Tuesday, June 23, 2026, in Kindibo.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the construction of these infrastructures is made possible thanks to the support of the NGO Terre Verte. The work will be carried out by the company BStir Eco. The launch ceremony was attended by the chief inspector of the Basic Education District (CCEB) of Tougo, Boureima Gansonr©, the representative of the Provincial Director of Preschool, Primary and Non-Formal Education (DPEPPNF) of Zondoma, Belem Ouindpouir©, Alidou Ou©draogo, head of the civil registry service of the Tougo town hall, as well as parents of students.

Boureima Gansonr© of the CCEB of Tougo emphasized that this initiative represents significant support for the development of education in the municipality. "The construction of these facilities will improve students' learning conditions and contribute to providing a better working environment for teachers. We commend the partners' commitment to the school," he stated.

Boureima Savadogo, representing the partners, noted that the initiative aims to support education and assist the efforts of educational authorities. "Our objective is to contribute to improving the learning conditions of children in Kindibo," he stated.

According to the CCEB of Tougo, apart from the Kindibo B school, about twenty classrooms are still waiting to be built to provide better working conditions for students and teachers. In addition to the four classrooms, a latrine block and teacher accommodation will be built at the Kindibo B school as part of the same project.
