Bobo-Dioulasso:The Futurs Talents team emerged victorious in the 6th edition of the 'Tond la Taaba' tournament, held on Sunday, September 27, 2026, in sector 25. The team defeated AJS with a score of 2-1, in a final characterized by themes of patriotism, unity, and social cohesion.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the "Tond la Taaba" tournament, which translates to "between us" in the Moor© language, is designed to foster connections among young people through sports. Futurs Talents took control in the first half, scoring twice before AJS managed to reduce the lead in the second half. However, AJS was unable to equalize, resulting in a 2-1 victory for Futurs Talents.

Promoter Idrissa Guira encouraged the youth to embrace patriotism and community spirit. "We invite all young Burkinabe to cultivate patriotism, community spirit, and social cohesion, while supporting our authorities," he stated, emphasizing the initiative's spirit with the slogan "One ball, one family, one nation standing strong."

During the event's halftime, 87 internally displaced persons were provided with school kits. Following the match, the AJS team received medals, a ball, and a cash prize. As the tournament champions, Futurs Talents were awarded the trophy, medals, a ball, a set of jerseys, and a cash prize.

Futurs Talents captain Andr© Bationo expressed his joy, attributing their success to teamwork. Promoter Idrissa Guira commended the significant public attendance and the sportsmanship displayed by the teams. He also extended an invitation to the 7th edition of the tournament, planned for 2027.
