Gayeri CCEB Darankoum Seeks Year-End Success in Education Efforts

Gayeri: The Head of the Basic Education District (CCEB) of Gayeri, Mr. Raogo Darankoum, expressed the wish to see the efforts of the teachers crowned with success at the end of the school year, on the occasion of the solemn raising of the colors organized this Thursday at the school in sector 5.

According to Burkina Information Agency, this activity was part of the National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Civic Participation. It brought together teachers, students, parents, and administrative staff from the CEB and the Provincial Directorate in charge of basic education, literacy, and the promotion of national languages (DPEPPNF).

Three key moments marked the ceremony: the raising of the colours, accompanied by the national anthem sung in moore, the speech by the CCEB, and that of the Provincial Director. Speaking at the event, Mr. Darankoum praised the resilience of education stakeholders and the efforts made during the past quarter.

He specifically commended the teachers who used their holidays to enhance their skills, particularly in transcribing Gulimancema, as well as those who provided catch-up classes. He encouraged all stakeholders to continue their efforts to promote education in Komondjari province. "Thank you for what you do every day. I hope your efforts will be successful at the end of the year," he said.

The CCEB also urged participants to take ownership of the President of Faso's message, particularly regarding the promotion and consumption of local products. For his part, the Provincial Director, Mr. Yatenyoua Lucien Ouoba, paid tribute to the teachers for their commitment and the results achieved last year. He encouraged them to redouble their efforts to further improve academic performance.

Referring to the difficult security context, Mr. Ouoba called for a paradigm shift and more sacrifices, while stressing that "good deeds are never lost." He also invited stakeholders to cultivate a patriotic spirit and remain mobilized to ensure the smooth running of educational activities. He finally invited the educational community to meet again next June to celebrate the results of the school year.
