Gourma Concert Unites Fada N’Gourma in Resilience and Patriotism

Gourma: The event was attended by the High Commissioner of the Gourma province, Silas Nacanabo, who praised the strong mobilization of the population. According to him, the city of Fada N'Gourma had been eagerly awaiting this concert since it was announced. "The people of Fada N'Gourma have been waiting for this concert ever since the announcement was made. We are delighted," said Mr. Nacanabo.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the messages conveyed during the evening were strong, citing in particular messages of encouragement, resilience, calls for more collaboration, and increased support for the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) as well as the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP).

Speaking at the event, Privat 4.5 indicated that its artistic tours in several locations across the country were driven by a desire to demonstrate the progress made on the ground. "I felt that there are many areas formerly occupied by terrorists that are now liberated, without a large majority of Burkinabe people knowing it," he confided.

According to the artist, performing in these areas that "the average person cannot imagine" is a way of showing the whole world that they have been reclaimed and that they now live in peace. He specified that these concerts also aim to encourage local populations, to salute their resilience, and to urge them to continue efforts to overcome the enemy.

"Through these tours, we want to encourage our FDS comrades and raise awareness among the population about patriotism," argued Privat 4.5. For this leg of the tour in Fada N'Gourma, the artist was accompanied by several "brothers in arms" who, beyond military combat, "fight with melodies".

These include Narel, Elka 33, Timo David Solo, and Obinno, who each performed in turn before an audience that remained engaged until late into the night. According to the organizers, it was after the towns of Man© and Solenzo that the artistic delegation settled in Fada N'Gourma for this new stop on the "Tchaba Tcha Tour", which intends to travel to several other localities in Burkina Faso.
