Passore: Returning from Ouahigouya, capital of the Yaadga region, the Minister of Industry, Trade and Handicrafts, Serges Gnaniodem Poda, made a stop this Friday, February 13, 2026, in Yako to observe the effectiveness of the Faso Yaar shop in the locality.According to Burkina Information Agency, Minister Poda arrived at around 3:30 p.m., accompanied by a large ministerial and regional delegation. He was first welcomed by the local authorities before proceeding to the Faso Yaar shop in the town of Yako. The visit aimed to assess the state of preparations and understand the method of acquiring consumer products.Minister Poda also inquired about the safety of the foodstuffs available at the shop. He stressed the importance of adhering to internal regulations governing the procedure. "Having reviewed the internal regulations governing the procedure, we must be strict about this. If someone still complains that they don't have sugar or that sugar is expensive, they must be told to come here. And if they don't come, too bad for them," Minister Poda emphasized.The provincial secretary general, representing the high commissioner of Passore, expressed gratitude to the minister for the visit. He noted that this initiative is part of the effort to promote good governance. Before heading back to the capital, Minister Poda thanked all the constituted bodies of the province and the region for facilitating the acquisition of basic food products for the benefit of the population.
