Fada n'gourma: The President of the special delegation (PDS) of the municipality of Fada N'Gourma, Kampadilemba Jerome Idani, was honored on Sunday, November 30, 2025, in Fada N'Gourma with a certificate of recognition and a trophy for his continuous support and assistance to the municipal police. This accolade was part of the activities marking the thirty years of the municipal police of Burkina Faso.

According to Burkina Information Agency, this distinction was awarded to Kampadilemba Jerome Idani by the organizing committee of the 30th anniversary of the municipal police. Fada N'Gourma's unique support among the fifty or so communes in the country played a pivotal role in this recognition. The certificate of recognition also bore the signature of the Minister of Territorial Administration and Mobility, as specified by Mr. Idani.

The PDS highlighted the 27th anniversary celebration of the Fada N'Gourma municipal police force. Mr. Idani stated that supporting the municipal police was simply part of his duty. He emphasized that his staff was involved in all commemorative activities, including a fun run, helmet use awareness campaigns, and an open house for the municipal police.

Expressing his satisfaction with the recognition, Kampadilemba Jerome Idani remarked that the distinction would serve as additional motivation. "This is a tremendous joy for me, as I was simply doing my job. This award galvanizes me and reminds me that what we do is recognized, praised, and celebrated by the highest authorities," he said, acknowledging the supervising minister and the President of Burkina Faso.

Mr. Idani extended congratulations to all municipal police officers for their significant efforts, which have strengthened community ties and reaffirmed their commitment to serving the citizens. Throughout 2025, the municipality of Fada N'Gourma received three awards, indicative of its performance and efforts in good governance.
