Gourma: The Show “On Reste Debout” Attracts a Large Audience

Fada n'gourma: Radiodiffusion-Television du Burkina (RTB) produced, on Thursday, September 25, 2025, in Fada N'Gourma, a special edition of the program "On reste debout," in the presence of a large audience. After traveling through Bobo-Dioulasso, Po, Manga, Gaoua, Dedougou, and Dano, the city of Yendabli hosted this program, which was designed by journalist Ismael Wobgo.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the primary objective of the program is to support the fighting forces and the initiatives of the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traore, who is committed to the security and sovereignty of the country. Ismael Wobgo emphasized that journalists and RTB should not remain on the sidelines in light of the commitments made by the President of Faso.

The program, under the theme "Patriotic and Civic Engagement: Role of Local Authorities," featured interactive debates on topics such as the definition of patriotism, ways for citizens to contribute to security, social cohesion, and the vision of the Alliance of Sahel States (AES). The event, held in a 1,000-seat hall, was packed, demonstrating the interest shown by the local population and the diaspora, including nationals from Niger, Togo, Ghana, and Mali.

Attendees expressed their support for Captain Ibrahim Traore's commitment and hoped to see his vision extend across the African continent. Ismael Wobgo conveyed his gratitude to the regional, provincial, and municipal authorities, as well as to His Majesty Untaanba, King of Gulmu, for their support.

The evening also included a tribute to the fighting forces who tirelessly defend Burkina Faso.
