Governor Siaka Barro Commends Living Conditions for Conscripts in Gaoua

Gaoua: The governor of the Djr region, Siaka Barro, expressed his satisfaction with the living conditions of conscripts during a visit to the compulsory patriotic immersion sites in Gaoua. Accompanied by regional authorities, Governor Barro assessed the stay and training conditions of the young conscripts on Thursday.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the governor's delegation toured the Tielkan and INFPE sites, where they observed the accommodations, catering services, and training facilities. Governor Barro examined the dormitories, infirmary, and dining areas, noting that the necessary conditions were in place to support the conscripts. He also commended the quality of meals provided.

Governor Barro expressed his approval of the educational and practical exercises offered to the conscripts, which included military demonstrations, flag-raising ceremonies, and activities focused on discipline, patriotism, and social cohesion. He highlighted the transformation of the conscripts into "patriotic Burkinabe," emphasizing the program's role in developing disciplined citizens ready to serve their country.

Furthermore, Governor Barro praised the efforts of supervisors and trainers and acknowledged the Burkinabe authorities for implementing the mandatory patriotic immersion program. He encouraged the management teams to sustain their efforts until the training concludes on August 26, 2026.
