Ouagadougou: The special delegation of the commune of Guibar© officially launched the development of a new five-year framework to guide local development from 2025 to 2029. The Municipal Development Plan (PCD) will be crafted by experts under the supervision of HORUS Conseils et D©veloppement Sarl, aligning with the Burkinabe government's new directions, as stated by Moussa Sanou, secretary general of Bam province.
According to Burkina Information Agency, this update to the PCD is necessitated by the national context, specifically the adoption of the new national development framework, the Action Plan for Stabilization and Development (PA-SD). The implementation of this document on a national scale requires local development plans to be revised to incorporate new national guidelines, explained the representative of the High Commissioner.
Moussa Sanou emphasized the importance and complexity of developing a PCD, urging the editorial committee to approach the task with diligence. Benjamin Kiswendsida Ou©draogo, the prefect and president of the special delegation of Guibar©, expressed satisfaction with the commencement of the PCD drafting process. He noted that the new plan would guide the commune's actions over the next five years and highlighted the need for an Annual Investment Plan to address urgent municipal needs.
The last PCD for Guibar© expired in 2023, leaving the community without a reference document. Ou©draogo stated that the new plan would focus on addressing the real needs of the population, providing relief to the community.
