Ouagadougou: The Minister of State, Minister of Territorial Administration and Mobility, Mr. Emile ZERBO, met with the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Burkina Faso, His Excellency Mr. Igor MARTYNOV, in Ouagadougou on Tuesday, March 18, 2025. The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation between the two nations.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Ambassador Igor MARTYNOV highlighted that the discussions were aimed at strengthening the relationship between Burkina Faso and the Russian Federation. The meeting addressed various key areas, with a particular emphasis on project development in sectors such as aviation and civil protection in Burkina Faso.

Ambassador MARTYNOV noted that Minister ZERBO appreciated the initiative, which reflects the positive dynamics of the relationship between the two countries. The Burkinabe authorities, as reaffirmed by the Minister of State, are committed to continuing and consolidating this cooperation for mutual benefit.
