Ouagadougou: The Secretary General of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Handicrafts, Alassane OUEDRAOGO, presided this Thursday, February 5, 2026, over the official handover ceremony marking the official installation of the new Director of Communication and Press Relations (DCRP), Isma«l Saturnin PARE, appointed in the Council of Ministers on January 29, 2026.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the outgoing Director, Jacques Lamissa TARPAGA, officially handed over the files to his successor in the presence of colleagues and officials from the ministry.
The new Director of Public Relations and Communications (DCRP), aware of the magnitude of the task, expressed his gratitude to the authorities for the trust placed in him. He also briefly outlined his roadmap, which focuses, among other things, on increasing the digitalization of the ministry's information services and strengthening relations with the media and the public.
In installing the new director in his position, the Secretary General emphasized the importance of responsive and transparent communication, particularly in a rapidly changing economic environment. He called upon all staff members of the directorate to fully support the new director in addressing the challenges of economic sovereignty.
