Zogore: The educational authorities of Zogore officially launched the activities of the Organization of Sport and Culture in Primary School (OSCEP) of the Basic Education District (CEB) of Zogore, focusing on promoting patriotism in schools.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony featured Assane Sigue, the Secretary General of OSCEP, who represented the Head of the CEB, Alila Kafando. He emphasized that the primary mission of the school is to educate patriotic citizens who are engaged and proud of their country. To achieve this, educational authorities have initiated these sporting and cultural activities, which aim to enhance the psychomotor and socio-emotional development of children.
Mr. Sigue urged teachers to commit firmly, students to demonstrate discipline and tolerance, and parents and partners to continue their moral and financial support. He then officially announced the launch of the sports and cultural activities of the CEB of Zogore for the 2025-2026 school year.
Students from the Zogore district are set to compete in various sporting and cultural disciplines during the qualifying rounds, leading up to the final phase of the competitions. The opening match saw the Koro school team triumph over the Teonsgo team with a score of 3 goals to 0.
