The nation has a duty towards you', General Coulibaly to the families of the victims of terrorismOuagadougou, May 2. 2024 (AIB)- The Minister in charge of National Defense, Brigadier General Kassoum Coulibaly, paid tribute to the victims of terrorism and their families, on the occasion of Labor Day.'Have good morale. Don't feel alone. The nation has a duty towards you,' declared Brigadier General Kassoum Coulibaly, head of a large government delegation to survivors and families of victims of terrorism.The brigadier general, who is also a minister of state, was at the head of a delegation initially planned to go to the Labor Exchange and receive the list of grievances from the unions on the occasion of May 1st.'This working day, we can only think of you and pray that you are in the best possible conditions. It was while working for your brothers and sisters and for the best of this country that you became victims. We can only be grateful to you,' said Minister Coulibaly.And to cont inue 'that we can only think of you and pray that you are in the best possible working conditions'.For his part, the chief warrant officer, Yazouma Ouattara, war wounded and main facilitator of the Massadiani center at the Paspanga camp, welcomed this exchange meeting with the government delegation which constitutes, according to him, a mark of attention to their regard.'When we know that the highest authorities in the country are thinking of us, we can only be pleased,' rejoiced the chief warrant officer.For him, with the President of the Transition, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, efforts have been made towards victims of terrorism to enable them not to feel alone.Source: Burkina Information Agency
