Niaogho:The Secretary General of the Niaogho commune, Ambroise Bayili, urged students and teachers on Thursday to adhere to the helmet-wearing mandate during a visit to several schools in the area.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Bayili, along with a local delegation, noted the smooth start of the academic year and engaged in discussions with students, educators, and parents.
Bayili emphasized the necessity of wearing helmets for all students and teachers using two-wheeled vehicles, warning that non-compliance would result in penalties. He praised the dedication of the teaching staff and encouraged students to be diligent, punctual, and disciplined, while fostering civic and patriotic values.
He also highlighted the recent success in the CEP exams, with a 93.06% pass rate in the 2026 session, expressing optimism for further improvement in the new school year. Bayili assured that municipal authorities are committed to supporting the educational community within their capacity.
The academic year is now underway in the primary and secondary schools of Niaogho commune.
