Soubagagn©dougou:The President of the special delegation of the commune of Djigou¨ra, Dª Millogo, visited the agricultural field operated by the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP) in Soubagagn©dougou to evaluate the progress of this year's crops.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the visit took place on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, and included an inspection of the five-hectare field. This area is planted with 1.5 hectares of rice, one hectare of maize, one hectare of cowpeas, one hectare of soybeans, and 0.5 hectares of peanuts.

Agricultural technicians Rasman© Sawadogo and Daouda Ouattara noted their satisfaction with the crop conditions. Despite some challenges during the growing season, they reported that the crops are developing well and suggest promising production prospects if maintenance continues properly until harvest.

President Dª Millogo praised the dedication of the agricultural VDPs and highlighted the significance of their work in enhancing food security and local development. He encouraged the farmers to sustain their efforts to ensure a successful harvest.
