High Commissioner Calls for United Effort Towards Popular Progressive Revolution in Loroum

Loroum: The High Commissioner of the province of Loroum, Captain Djibril Bassol©, urged the province's constituted bodies to strive for social cohesion and alter their approach during the traditional monthly ceremony of raising the national colors in Titao. Stressing the need for change, he declared a shift from political practices to aligning with the Popular Progressive Revolution (RPP).

According to Burkina Information Agency, Captain Bassol© emphasized the accessibility of the RPP manifesto, which has been translated into several national languages, including Moor©, Fulfulde, Dioula, and French, enabling every citizen to embrace the RPP's ideals. He urged the community to fully integrate the manifesto's vision, emphasizing the necessity of a consistent commitment to the RPP principles.

He further highlighted that the path to national sovereignty begins with reclaiming dignity, fostering endogenous development, achieving industrial independence, and nurturing human capital. In addressing the province's internal situation, Captain Bassol© asserted that social cohesion is a collective responsibility, not limited to administrative or security authorities.

He called upon all individuals, from customary leaders to ordinary citizens, to contribute actively to this unity of action. The High Commissioner stressed that achieving development objectives hinges on mutual respect and cooperation among all stakeholders. He urged civil society to enhance community cohesion and eliminate destructive behaviors, asserting that the province's future dignity and sovereignty depend on these efforts.
